For those of you coming to the HIPS Convention and are wondering what to
bring to wear - I think Carolyn had it right.... anything can happen this
time of year. I think it's safe to rule out snow (knock on wood), and our
traditional last frost date is Memorial Day - but, it can get quite brisk at
any time so it's always best to be prepared.
It can also be swelteringly hot - so be prepared.
It can also rain.... or not - so be prepared.
So very basically, with the exception of your wedding dress, you may as well
pack up the closest to be safe.
Or, just bring jeans, good garden shoes, tee shirts and a few things you can
layer on or off, depending.
Can't wait! Peter and I will be rolling in Friday night for the fabulous
glass slides presentation - from authentic glass slides. As you may know,
New York State is the birthplace of the American Iris Society so we have some
TRES KEWL stuff in the archives.
Who else is going - raise your hand. Looks like it should be peak bloom.
