Hi talkers,
I was pleasantly surprised today to see my rhizome of BLACKOUT that I
bought from Suttons is sending up two stalks. What impressed me the
most is that the pregnant fans are edged purple , the others that will
not bloom this year have no purple edges. Has anybody else noticed this
before ?
IB in bloom here including BIT OF CHOCOLATE and APPLEBLOSSOM PINK.
Stalks going up on RAMSESES , HONORABLE , BABBLING BROOK , LAKE PLACID,
CHAMPAGNE ELEGANCE, GOLDEN GALAXY, LOW HO SILVER, SKY HOOKS , THORNBIRD,
JESSE'S SONG, SYNCOPATION, RUSTLER, HONKY TONK BLUES AND WINE AND ROSES.
Sulking irises here in Blainville ,zone 5b and Keppel's VILLIAN ,
ELIZABETH CAROL and SUPERSTITION , which I just dug up and treated with
comet and replanted in a different location .
BENGAL TIGER was the worst of them all , the entire rhizome turned to
mush.
