I know absolutely nothing about Pacific Coast Irises. Looking at your
minimum winter temperatures, it looks like you would be in Zone 9. Although
I am in Florida, it gets a bit colder than that here, with -8 C being almost
certain in the winter. This past winter, we were as cold as -12 C.
