Linda,

MODERN CLASSIC (Knocke, 1975) is a later blooming TB plicata with very
attractive form (far in advance of its time, IMO). It was a slow increaser
and rather shy bloomer for me, but it might do better in your area. It was
bred in either New Jersey or Michigan (Dr. Knocke moved from one to the
other, and I am not sure of the timing relative to when he hybridized MC).
