Yeah right.  Thornbird and Conjuration?  They weren't even Monty Byers' best
work.  Many of his things were a bit behind on form & substance, but he did
a lot to advance rebloomers and space agers from the early predominantly
droopy, bland, and unruffled varieties to things a lot closer to modern
form, with excellent garden habits.  I honestly don't consider any of his
intros Dykes material, but I use Reincarnation and Rock Star in breeding.
Those two, Eggnog, and Stingray are consistent rebloomers for me; and all
but Eggnog are good increasers.

Edith Wohlford had wonderfully unique coloration, but considering bloom
habits was far from the best of Hager's recent work.  Unfoortunately, many
people who are deserving of being judges may be limited in their ability to
travel, and are voting based on their limited observations.  Many a
disappointing intro has had its best year at a convention.
