Thank you Betty; Twist of Fate was the one I was trying to remember!  Poor
form for those of us who like wide, ruffled things; one-of-a-kind coloring.
So I remember one attempt to improve it was introduced as Tempting Fate (but
just not the same).  If I still had it I guess I would cross it to Louisa's
Song, or to my new ultra-dark (but not black) suede-finished purple seedling.
It would still be a bit narrow, but the color may still be there.
