Re: HYB: most fun crosses..

Hi Linda,
The crosses I've tried this season that I'm most
interested in seeing offspring from are "long shots".
I'm not even sure yet that there will be any seeds.

1) A species cross, Iris pallida X Iris furcata
2) diploid X tetraploid, 'Honorabile' X 'Muskoka
Sunset'
3) diploid X tetraploid, 'Clown Pants' X 'Muskoka
Sunset'
4) diploid X tetraploid, ('Vibrant Rose' X 'Clown
Pants') X 'Muskoka Sunset'
5) Iris tectorum X 'Muskoka Sunset'
6) ('Rosalie Figge' X aphylla) X pumila 'Lesser
Goldfinch', this cross should give SDB-interfertile
seedlings with aphylla background and hopefully also
the rebloom of the seed parent

I've done some other "daubing" but less interesting to
me than these.
Tom
