CULT: Borer Sprays
Greetings.
What is being used for Iris Borer prevention these days? Legally I mean? Is
not Cygon off the market or getting ready to be off the market or something?
Lindane never worked for anyone but Mark Cook-- was it Mark Cook?-- as I
recall
Is Merit actually labeled for the Iris Borer? What form of Merit is being
found more useful?
I handle things more or less organically here, but I am writing up some
cultural passout sheets for a presentation later in the month, and I'm going to
have to offer some current and useful pointers on this from divers
perspectives because there are always Borer questions.
Does AIS have an official recommendation for control of the Iris Borer,
other than good garden hygeine, not that there is anything wrong with that, as
far as it goes.
Did we ever identify a natural preditor for the borer at any stage of its
development?
Did anyone try any of those Gardens Alive products that were touted for
Borer?
