Mike: My "rebloomers" (with a few exceptions that are prone to bloomout) do
best near where a sprinklerhead leaks due to a faulty valve or some such.
This was also true in Simi Valley. Considering $400/month water bills with
minimal watering on a tract-house lot, this means we can't afford to coax a
lot of rebloom. Our hot, dry summers also make overhead watering a severe
risk for causing rot.

Hello,
George and Margaret are requesting information about cultural care of
reblooming iris in your area. This information will be passed on to the
Reblooming Iris Society at the AIS Convention in Portland.
This information will be very useful, as care differs from one growing area
to
another. We would all like to maximize our chances of getting our irises
to
rebloom, and cultural care is a big part of what leads to success.
Thanks in advance.
Mike Sutton
