Re: BULB: Bulbous Iris Fanciers?


Good success with reticulata "Harmony" here.  No particular care, other
than trying to put them where varmints are less likely to get to them -
between paving bricks, large flat rocks, etc.  Other places, duration of
survival just depends on whether or not they are discovered.  From full
shade to full sun - they are so early, shade from deciduous trees
doesn't seem to matter.

Same story with the dark purple narrower flowered earlier one (diff
species, I think), except the ones that have done well the longest are
in full sun.

No luck with Danfordiae beyond the first year.  Haven't tried others.
