Hi, Arnold--
Thanks for the welcome--I'm already starting to feel at home! But, oh
gosh, a hard question. There are several places in the area that could
match that description. Lots of the historic sites have beautiful
gardens, there are several nature centers at some of the various parks, and
so on. I know there's quite a few things, also, down at Swope Park, where
there are lots of trails, and Swope Park is definitely beautiful. And I
think there's some gardens down at or near the Nelson-Atkins Museum, but I
can't think of the name. Isn't that sad--I've lived here for years, and
I'm drawing a blank! Most of these places have at least a few iris, but
nothing like an real garden of 'em.

If I think of it, I'll let you know--maybe my brain'll kick into gear after
a few more cups of coffee....

Angie
