TB, HIST, OT welcome

Recently, I have seen two historic Irises blooming in this area. Both
are very common. One is a royal purple self with a mostly white beard.
Height is about thirty inches. The other has royal purple falls and
lighter standards with yellow beards. The height of this one was about 42
inches. Both are fragrant. Both are very vigorous and bloom well even
when neglected. Does anyone have any idea what these are named?
Also, at this time, I would like to welcome Maggie and June to the
Iris-L. I have been to New Mexico once but I have yet to make it to
Canada.
