I know you've had answers to this question already, but what the heck....
Blue flax is a local wildflower here, and people like it so well that it gets
seeded wherever there's an open space. It blooms every year, no matter what!
And this year it's utterly spectacular. I find it is noninvasive, and light
enough in texture that it's not a problem in the garden. Self-seeds like
crazy. Good stuff, Maynard!
Barb, in Santa Fe, where it's been raining steadily all day long. It doesn't
do that here.
