Sounds like you're having the same spring we have had in New Mexico, only
later. I still have initial buds opening on some iris that are damaged and
deformed. But take heart--aside from those, once things really got blooming,
the stalks have been fabulous, and it's turning out to be one of our best
bloom seasons ever! Hopefully, yours will, too.
Barb, in Santa Fe, and our show is this weekend. I have my fingers crossed we
don't get hail.

I've a couple of SDB's out there that are trying to bloom. They look
JUST AWFUL!! bloom size is miserable, the stalks are short, the blossom
is just out of the fan. FOUL!! FOUL!! weather!! It's going to be
some 34F tonight!!
Does anyone else have this experience when the weather is so cold and wet??
It's so bad in Western New York that the Median Show scheduled for
this weekend has to be cancelled!! It will be an exhibit instead.
