Rick, thanks for the info.  I must have missed that earlier posting re JOHN
HOEHNER.  The description certainly sounds like the one bloom I had -- it
was certainly a PALE blue.  The color was like snow with a slight shadowy
blue overtone; the blue beard certainly draws a second look!

Does Long's Gardens put out a catalog?  I'm wondering if it is considered a
TB and whether it is early/mid/late season.  It bloomed after just about
everything else in the iris bed.
