The Siberian Iris OUTSET is listed in the 1979 AIS Checklist. It is
registered as 30" tall, early season and rebloom. the Standards are dark
violet. The falls are dark violet-blue with gold-white streaking at upper
half of falls. The styles are dark violet with violet blue midribs. The
seedling number was listed as T472/168Z, so I am assuming that the "T"
indicates Tetrapoid. It was introduced by Currier McEwen in 1976, so it is
not of European origination.
