The entry in the '79 Checklist also contains the notation "(2 x 28 chrom)",
so OUTSET is definitely a Tetraploid (28 chromosomes is the diploid number
for I. sibirica and I. sanguinea-derived Siberians). OUTSET received an HM
award from the AIS in 1978. Enjoy!
