Hello again,
Two (out of all the Iris at my mother's house) bloomed this year, both have
seed pods on them. What do I do with them. I would like to try to grow the
seed and see what I come up with.
Someone earlier posted to let the seed pod stay on until it turned brown and
started to crack, but she/he didn't know what to do after that. I haven't
seen any other postings on this.
What do I do with the seeds? Plant them in small pots and put plastic on
them to make their own greenhouse? Plant them outside(they might get pulled
as weeds), if outside where? Full sun (we are in TX so 100 hot and dry will
be here soon), part shade??? Do you keep the seed moist until the
germinate? ??????
How long should it take them to germinate, then how long does it take before
they are big enough to bloom and start setting babies (1, 2, ??? years??)
Thank you for any information!
