SPEC: anticipation
From: Dennis Kramb <dkramb@badbear.com>
I am about to burst! I have two small clumps of Iris fulva "MARVELL GOLD"
whose buds have been showing color for 4 or 5 days now. They are driving
me crazy! I'm just dying to see them bloom, but they're making me wait.
The Iris fulva "red" is not too far behind. And I'm also detecting color
in the buds of my japonica hybrid.
My stupid cristatas are going to make me wait another year it seems. My
Iris brevicaulis seems to have disappeared. Of all my versicolors, CAT
MOUSAM is the only one showing color in its buds. The others don't even
have bloom stalks up yet. My virginca var. shrevei clumps (4 of them) are
not showing signs of stalks yet either. Neither are my siberians.
Well, thanks for listening to me rant!
