OK, I'll put my two cents in....I like "Iris, Flower of the RAinbow" but for
kinda personal reasons...first there's a ton of gorgeous photos. IN fact,
I fell in love with four irises pictured in there, three of which I am
receiving this fall. Secondly, Graeme Grosvenor makes his picks of the best
performers or best form cultivars...and I found that extremely helpful since
he often mentions certain ones that perform goodin mild climates, and we're
in a mild climate here. It's good reference material in these two ways. I
also have Bill Shear's book which is excellent, because he shows you alot of
how to with pictures...still want to get World of Irises tho.
Janet Natale, zone 8 of S.C. where WAR SAILS, MOON JOURNEY and INCANTATION
are gorgeous, stalk stilll coming on HELLO DARKNESS.
