That's the trouble with so many of the Niswonger introductions, they are
almost always named after something scrumptious which would kill a diabetic
like myself. It is very frustracting to work in the garden near his
varieties when they are in bloom. Those of you who know Dave personally
from the conventions: I'm curious about his behavior when the dessert cart
is rolled out. Does he write down the names for future introductions, or
does he simply waste the desserts?
In his catalog he mentions that he has difficulty coming up with names and
welcomes suggestions. Do his garden visitors eat lunch at someplace elegant
just before coming out?
