Walta, what do they do when they damp off? Do they get weak at the soil line
and keel over like other seedlings or what? When I've had dampoff on other
things--I've only had it when starting seedling inside--they get this
necrotic area at the soil line--presumptively where the fungus has
attacked--and then they keel, and it moves outward in the flat or pot
starting from the first fatality. Not wanting to hassle with it is one reason
I've stopped doing much inside if I can help it. That and the incident when
the ginger tomcat got into the locked plant room and grazed a flat of
seedlings down to nothing one afternoon......
So, you get this on the Bearded stuff or on the BX stuff or both?
Just curious.....
