Hello, Michelle.  Welcome to the list! Nice to have you with us here.

It is a bit hard to diagnose from your description but most cases of 
"rippling" are the result of fluctuations in growth speed within the leaves, 
or something similar. Sometimes they get caught when they are emerging one 
from another and this can cause some distortion, too. Most of this is a 
response to enviromental things, like a couple of hot days causing a growth 
spurt. Some varieties tend to catch their leaves more than others. 

If the color of the leaves is good and they look healthy otherwise, I would 
not worry too much about it. If they don't look wholesome, or they are 
falling over or something, then there is some other problem here besides the 
rippling.
