Detailed information on all registered iris are contained in checklists
produced and sold by the American Iris Society. Some members of this list
have the full collection, so you will probably get all the info you want
about your new iris.
Cindy has already given you a brief description of Ovation and Twist of Fate
(one of my favourites though it would get finicky about every third year).
Carolina Gold is a bright gold self (as you might have guessed).
Have fun digging up that lawn -- we've run out of lawn worth digging. We're
now eyeing the neighbour's property....
