Have a couple of real standout goodies this year. Sweet Delight (Blyth 95) is a heavy substances ruffled peach and a good grower (we've sold out already). Of similar substance and form is Broken Dreams (Keppel 98), except this is a much more intense colour of peach and pinks with white spashes. It's only drawback is the the piece I bought last year has only got an increase of two. But it does produce some pollen and is hopefuly pod fertile. Every pod I've put on Sweet Delight has set, as has every bloom an Hello Darkness.
We've just got our shipment from Suttons after having been in quarantine for 3 months. A lot have flowered during this time and while we missed some, Holy Fire is in full flight. It's like Mesmerizer but with red beards and full frimbrilated flounces. Stunning. We're amazed at the amount of increase on almost all the stuff we imported especialy the dwarfs. Its all been good quality and while we had to pay a huge quarantine bill (almost $30 per plant for the quantity we bought in) AQIS ( Aust quarantine) have looked after the plants wonderfully. They were in magnificent condition and there wasn't a single loss.
