Re: OT-CHAT: foreigners, cyberspace, & vocabulary

I agree with your feelings on scapegoats. I also like your references. It can be fun to look through the dictionary especially really old ones that have definitions for words that I have not heard mentioned in my lifetime. You should look up Yankee in Harvards unabridged dictionary. It has the old and new definitions of the word and the disbelief that it would stand for what it stands for today It also has the chemical makeup for colchicine and other formulas in it. Super reading just for fun. I have read all this 3 days late so I am sure I will also be right in there with you as I ran and got my old monster and looked it up right away, out of curiosity as to what used to be and replied to fast. But from what I read the usage would probably be allowed by this relic

I can't resist - this thread has been humor for the week. Bill Shear,
who usually signs name, rank, serial number and a quote, signed his post
with just B.S. Then someone mentioned "foreigners" & I wonder who the
  foreigners are in cyberspace <g>.

I will surely regret posting this when messages become >70% chat, it
gets my goat, and I can see the future - something about scapegoats....

more B.S., this time from Linda Mann in Tennessee
