Re: TBS: Cult: Growth report (long)

Hi Betty,

Not exactly completely lost, many of them that were too small to bother with were left behind. There was a great deal of loss, but mostly the leaves that were showing right now were from new increases that came up off the old mother rhizome within the last month.

It is a harsh environment up there. Lots and lots of drying wind. It just sucks the moisture right out of everything. This summer was especially harsh, and I haven't been up there to do anything with them at all since before summer hit. If they had summer rains I am sure they would have been a lot better.

From what I had in the growth report, however, it is easy for me to see which irises were truly "care free".

Patrick

If I read this correctly you lost 81 of the 96 varieties?
