CULT: Preparing beds for winter

     It sounds to me like you did it right last year.  Most Iris types will 
be hardy in Michigan, and in fact, some require the cold winters.  I used to 
live in KY, but now live in Florida, so I am hoping that someone else in 
Michigan or northern Ohio can give additional tips.
     Thinking Irises, I have a rebloom scape on WINESAP, and a very southern 
plant called Tiger Eye Iris is still blooming some.
