OT-CHAT TBIS and AIS - looking for positive change

Dear friends,
I know not much has been said on iris-talk in recent years about TBIS and any
cooperation or non cooperation with AIS. Maybe this means all is well, or
maybe this means no one is comfortable talking about it. I do know I've been
surprised here in Region 14 by AIS telling us it is not a good idea to involve
TBIS in any way with our 2004 AIS convention. I know it's not a good idea to
start really controversial discussion on this forum, so I wish to state that
my intent is only to encourage positive change to help both organizations. I
would very much like to know what people think should or could be done.
nothing? keep it under the table? encourage more cooperation? If you would
like to email me privately, please do, as I really am interested in what
people think, and very much want to keep things polite here. Thanks.
