Donald, your speculation that SEA POWER will go on beyond the Wister to a
Dykes is one I share.  Keith tells me it will look better on a second year,
established plant than it does on the new set.  From the way it bloomed here
this year I can hardly see how it could get better!

I made several tries at crosses from it but rain and rain-spoiled pollen
plagued me this year through the entire TB season and only four crosses
survived out of the several that took.  Stems rotted, pods rotted, crosses
failed....and none of the four miracle survivors were from Sea Power.  There's
always next year.....  I haven't even bothered (yet) to plant the pathetic 131
seeds.
