Not really..... Almost as important as length of falls and standards is the
ability to set seed easily so I think I'll pass.
I'm sure I'll have a number of things turn up in the seedling beds that will
fit the bill and if not, I'm leaning toward some of the older species
beardeds as possibilities.
On the other hand... One of my pet projects is breeding for a Tall Bearded.
Tall Tall Bearded.... with stems like iron. Only one seedling made the cut
last year topping out at 48 3/4" in poor soil with no additional water. I'm
currently keeping an eye open for anything solid as a rock and over 50". :-)
