To search for the word <love> by itself, try entering love with a space
on one or both sides of the word.  A space on both sides gives only 169
hits instead of 400+.
Better yet enter <love> (without the <>) and no spaces and select the check box labeled "Whole word match". (and it isn't really all that slow)
