Hi Steve,
I, too, am here in northern MN, about 100 miles due west of you between
Grand Rapids and Bemidji (closer to GR). I have grown hundreds of
rebloomers over the last decade, but only six have ever actually
rebloomed for me. Of those, only three are TBs, and of those three,
only one has rebloomed twice in the last decade (different years):
Champagne Elegance TB - rebloomed once about a month after spring
bloom, then promptly died.
Sugar Blues TB - rebloomed once
Lilting TB - rebloomed twice (different years) but is a very slow
increaser
Low Ho Silver IB - rebloomed once
Faux Pas IB - rebloomed once then promptly died
What Again SDB - rebloomed once
Queen Dorothy TB - almost rebloomed once but got caught by frost just
before the first bud opened
I don't know how helpful, if any, that information will be to you. At
least it confirms that rebloom is possible in our climate.
Laurie
