SPEC: Maryland natives

A person who had visited the No. Am. Native Iris web site had this
comment:

> I live in Maryland, and I have a book called "finding wildflowers
in the Washington
> D.C. -baltimore area" and it lists Iris cristata, verna,
versicolor, and virginica as all
> living in my area.

Can anyone on the list confirm the presence of these irises in MD? I
seem to remember from our previous discussions that virginica var.
virginica was not found that far north.
