Hi All,
>Did you believe for a moment that a "bubba" from the Southeastern U.S.

"I will twine with my mangles of raven black hair
with the roses so red and the lilies so fair.
The meadows are bright with its amber hue..."
Good grief! The last time I heard this one was back in the 70's and =
performed by Joan Baez. It's from an old (pre Woodie Guthrie) folk song =
called Wildwood Flower.......and I believe it comes from N.Carolina.
I'm hoping someone can identify (guess at) a type of iris seed obtained =
from a seed exchange group. These were listed only as iris collected at =
a botanical garden around the Seatlle area. About 1/4" at the widest of =
a teardrop or D shape and very thin. Color of the seeds is coal black. =
Since two have already sprouted, it might be helpful to know what I've =
just adopted.
Thanks,
Christy Hensler
