Hi Mark!
There was discussion on the list around the end of September about a
variegated form of I. japonica. This sounds like a more probable candidate
for your new acquistion than I. pallida, which is what a couple of people
have already suggested. I make this statement on the contrarian principle
that anything that grows well here, as I. pallida does, is unlikely to
flourish in Florida, while something like japonica, which would be
impossible to grow here is likely to find a happy home in the Sunshine
State.(-:
