Do any of you all know anything about the book IRISES: A PRACTICAL
GARDENING GUIDE by Karen Glasgow. It is offered through the Eureka
Gardening Collection. From a Eureka Pamphlet: "This highly illustrated
guide looks at the wide range of irises growing in milder climates." Is
this referring exclusively to West Coast climates or does it include the
southeast US?
The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning for this area
tonight. The Weather Channel forecasts 35, so to be safe, my Walking
Irises are in the garage for the night. After having been 64 F (about 18
C) under clear skies today, the temperature is now down to 48 F (9 C) now.
