What I want to know is what does this bode for their future? Will >they

I don't know much about U.S. weather, but I don't think Texas is too
different to here. Central Victoria has very hot, very dry summers,
Cold, frosty winters, no snow, and low rainfall.
My duthc iris flower most years, and divide. I find they do best if I
lift them every couple of years so they are not crowded. I don't know a
lot about them, but think that in a very wet climate, they probably rot.
If they are dry during their dormant period (summer) they should be OK.
BTW, mine were very late this year, and are only just finishing, as the
last of the TB's open (All the Bearded iris were early). I think this
may be because I transplanted them quite late in winter. Anyone have any
ideas?
