HYB: Pollen Viability

Hi Talkers,

I just got a message from Paul Tyerman. He tells me that the pollen of 
Reincarnation that I have been sending him has set pods for him in 
Australia. He and I are wondering how long frozen pollen will be viable. 
I checked the archives but am not very good at narrowing down the search 
to find specific posts on how long pollen will be viable frozen. I did 
manage to find a message from Sharon McAllister regarding using a 
microscope to determine if the pollen was still good but she did not 
mention the length of time. If anyone knows if pollen can be frozen for 
6 months or longer, I would appreciate the help.
