Dr. Z, I don't know diddlysquat about crossing bearded irises and that is the
bald truth, but one cross that has suggested itself to me is THORNBIRD x
IMMORTALITY. I wondered what you thought that might produce? I think the
Spoon's were going to try it at some point. Of course you might end up with
some things that resembled those buff Byers' irises like TEA LEAVES, I guess.
Did you have any intuitions on this point that you might share with us?
