Well, I supose that it would save you some searching of the various checklists
trying to find the name you are looking for (use the index to pick the book to
look in), or make it easier to pick a name for your newest seedling.
But I really agree about the searchable database. What kind of things would
you search for? (that defines to some extent how the database would be organized)
