I think to really be effective, if they are going to the trouble to put all this
on the net, is to also include description of the cultivar.  Realizing what a
tremendous job this would be, and cognizant of the copyright problem, most
irisarians who are on the net would be willing to pay AIS for this information I
think.  Those who are not on the net do have the hard copy R&I books, but for
those of us who are "isolated" from a club, it would be a wonderful thing, and
most would be willing to pay for that kind of information--name, hybridizer, year,
description.  For what it's worth--Pat in sunny, very cold CO western slope.  Snow
is all gone here, but not in the higher elevations.  They are rejoicing because
ski season opens early!
