Hello folks,
Received Bill Shear's "The Gardener's Iris Book" this
week. In the back there is a table listing recent medal
winners and several cultivars are listed as having won
the same award twice, e.g. CINNAMON STICK is
listed as having won the Eric Nies Medal first in 1990
and again in 1995. Someone needs to explain the
eligibility system to me again. I was under the impression
a cultivar would only be eligible after winning other awards
prior to being eligible for the top medals and would remain
eligible only for fixed period of time. Curious here.
