So doing some back of the evelope math. A pickup worth would be
2 tons. A pickup bed is around 8'X5'X2' [about right? Or less?] so 80
cubic feet or just under 3 yards. So a rough guess would be close to 1
1/2 yards per ton. Now I'm assuming you are all talking Imperial/US tons
and I'm getting metric tonnes. If I'm actually getting metric tonnes
the added 200lbs should represent a nice fudge factor.
I'd rather get more but I don't want to kill myself hauling it
around-)

decide between getting enough or going easy on myself.
