Hopefully somebody is interested.
On Monday I checked the weather report found out today and tommorow would be
dry and warm and decided to order my compost. After talking with the order
taker I was told that 1 tonne equals about 1 1/2 cubic yards. So I decided on
4 tonnes. 6yards being just enough to do a little of everything but not too
much for me to move in a reasonable period of time.
This morning at 9 I get the knock. Seems they've decided to put 4.8 tonnes
in the truck. Oh well I figure I can find a spot for it. So since 9 I've been
hauling it off the driveway. I'm even about 1/2 done now. You might be asking
what's taking so long. Well that truck dumped a pile 10'X11'4' on my
driveway. Yup a little more then 6 yards. Oh boy-( I'm back to playing pack
mule. If anybody cares I'll comment on the quality of the compost when I'm
able.
