Got a big chuckle out of your post, Nick, after all our headscratching
and guesses as to conversions. I think you have established that tonnes
and volume and cost have a chaotic relationship and may possibly be less
easy to predict than genetics of vernalization or rebloom in Arabidopsis
or Iris.
You need at least 3 data points for this to be a valid scientific study
- are you willing to order three more loads for comparative purposes?
Of course, unless it turns out, as I suspect, that height of truck and
forklift drivers, distance hauled, barometric pressure, which hemisphere
you are in, and allignment of Jupiter and Mars, enter into predicting
the relationship. Then you will need, umm.. at least.....umm... a lot
more data points.

I am hearing a loud grumbly noise from the sky, which is black instead
of the blue it has been for the last month or so. What is going on out
there?
