From the foggy autumn dells of Ottawa (z4ish), here is a list of
cultivars that will almost certainly get zapped by frost next week
(extremely late by our standards):
Autumn Thunder (more a fall bloomer than a rebloomer)
Double Shot (ditto)
Concertina (ditto)
Champagne Encore (genuine rebloom, a first for us for this cultivar)
Precious Little Pink (personally, I hate it. Second round of rebloom
though)
Northward Ho (just a standard miracle. Planted in late August after
doing nothing the previous years)
New bed, fresh soil, and (for us) good spacing.
