Colleen, how do you an Dennis keep the seedlings in pots for so long?
Mine grew to normal and near normal size fans this summer and that
is too large for even a fair sized pot. In constructing the new beds, I
have
only managed to get two germinated pods planted and the two sections
I have completed are 3' x 40 '. It is true that I'm allowing normal
spacing,
but there are still several pods' worth of seedlings which appear to need
more room than they currently have. I think I'd start losing many if I held
them in pots. It is awfully difficult to keep pots sufficiently watered
here
and only a day or two of interference would probably be lethal to many.
After all the work already in the little fellows, that would be discouraging
in the extreme.
