Hello
My name's Regina and I live in the Riverina area of New South Wales,
Australia.
I've loved bearded irises for years, but have never had the area to
grow them... up until last year! That was the beginning of the end for
me. I'm hooked!!
I had been given about 20 different bearded irises a couple of years
ago. This year most are flowering beautifully, but I don't know what
they are called! I'm not sure how to describe them either, as there are
millions of different hues of purple, blue, red etc and I'm not sure of
the right words to use.
I've just acquired 20 new ones yesterday, and they have names, but I
don't know what they look like! Oh boy!
I'm wondering if anyone may be able to help me out here? I'm presuming
that there are different names for those in different countries eg USA.
Is this true?
Any help would really be appreciated, as I've searched the web and
haven't found any sites with pictures of the ones that I have.
Thanks
Regina
