Dear Regina,
Welcome to the wonderful world of iris-talk. I live in West Gippsland ,
Victoria, and also suffer iris virus..Yes, they are addictive arent they?
And after you get hooked on Tb's, suddenly you find yourself thinking..Hmm
perhaps I might try some of the other varieties and species and before you
know it you are digging garden beds all over the place :)
Apart from trying the web site suggested by the Wagners, you might like to
contact either Tempo Two iris for their catalouge and back issues as they
have really grat photos..there is also Rainbow Ridge nursery in the Blue
Mountains, NSW, who are also very large growers.. and then of course you
could ask our own Colleen Modra of Impressive irises for her lovely
catalogue..But I warn you it could be a dangerous venture as you will find
more beauties than we can dig planting holes for:)
Web Sites for Tempo Two is www.tempotwo.com.au
I dont know Rainbow Ridges site...and unfortuately Colleen doesnt have a web
page...yet. But I am sure she will give you her email address so you can
contact her.I have found Collens email adress..here iit is,
irises@senet.com.au and the Pryors at Iris Haven who's web address is
www.pip.com.au/-irishaven, who specialise in the most beautiful louisiana
iris and have a great web site.
There are a few Aussies on this group and all are very helpful, nice
people...If you have any questions, dont hesitiate to ask, as everyone is
very helpful....
Regards, from Wendy Sargeant, Victoria , Australia..
